The unprecedented health situation surrounding COVID-19 is putting a higher strain on community resources that offer aid and relief during times like these, and they are now scrambling to support a higher demand with fewer resources. To help support our local community in Milwaukee, WI, Larson hosted a hybrid in-person/online supply drive to support COA Youth and Family Centers and replenish their supplies for the food pantry as well as the centers when they fully reopen. Donations included bottled water, toys, non-perishables, and more. 
 
COA focuses on serving Milwaukee children, teens and families through educational, recreational and social work programs. They also run a food pantry in one of the city’s food deserts, and have implemented a free meal program since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Larson delivered two pallets of donations on Thursday, May 21.
