The Gustave A. Larson Company held its third annual charity golf outing events in memory or Karl Larson. These events have continued to grow in popularity every year, and the money raised through these events is donated back to the HVAC industry.
This year’s events were held at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Minnesota, Morningstar Golf Club in Wisconsin, Eagle Hills Golf Club in Nebraska, and Crater Springs Golf Club in Utah. Customers, vendor sponsors, and Larson employees enjoyed a competitive scramble-format golf outing. Below are this year’s winners:

Karl and Madeline endowed the Larson HVAC Lab at the College of Engineering & Applied Science, which is used for students to conduct research in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. The Karl Larson HVAC Research Fund was established to continue to support this lab. Funds raised from our charity golf outings are donated to help fund scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students at the university in conjunction with the Larson Lab.
In 2014, we raised a total of $30,510. Thanks to the support from our supplier partners, employees, customers and the Gustave Larson Company match, we were able to raise $39,000 this year! We especially want to recognize our 2015 Platinum level sponsors which include Advanced Distributor Products, Chemours, and ServiceFirst. We are excited to see this special outing continue to grow and we look forward to hosting these great events again in 2016!
