PEAQ Awards Dinner

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (November 7, 2024) The Gustave A. Larson Company recently celebrated the 35th anniversary of its supplier evaluation program, Partners in Excellence and Quality (PEAQ). An awards dinner was held at the Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield, WI to honor the supplier and salesperson winners for 2023. 

 

The PEAQ Program was created out of the desire of Karl G. Larson to strengthen and show appreciation for the partnership between the Larson Company and its vendor business partners. The companies honored with the 2023 PEAQ Award were Allied Air Enterprises, Advanced Distributor Products, JB Industries, Honeywell International, and Nu-Calgon. 
  
The supplier winners are chosen through an evaluation of data collected throughout the year, considering various measurements of the quality of partnering in business. Factors considered in the supplier evaluation process include product quality, profitability, marketing, sales support, electronic commerce capabilities, on-time deliveries, lead-time, warranty policy, credit terms, business policies and procedures. Every department within the Larson Company has input into the evaluation process and selection of its winning suppliers and sales representatives. 
  
The Larson Company also honored the top supplier salesperson for 2023 in each of its regions. The winners for outstanding salesperson were Anthony Belokas of Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (East Region), Kyle Heimbrock of Endres & Associates (Central Region), and Matt Butler of MJM Associates (West Region). Salesperson finalists for each region were also recognized at the dinner; Mark Giganti of Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US and Mike Anderson of Rheem Sales Company (East Region), Brooks Rajala of RAC Sales and Dan Geraty of Resideo (Central Region), Brian Bush of Nu-Calgon and Curtis Spresser of Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (West Region). 
  
The primary goal of the PEAQ Program is to encourage open communication between the Larson Company and its suppliers on issues, policies, and procedures for the mutual benefit of both companies. “We truly appreciate the partnerships with our PEAQ award winning suppliers and local sales representation in each of our regions. The PEAQ Program is a unique program that our suppliers tell us is often duplicated, but it is never replicated,” said Scott Larson, CEO of the Larson Company.
