Programmer AnalystJob DescriptionSummaryUnder the direction of the IT Manager, this individual will work in an integrated computer network environment. An employee in this classification performs a full range of programming and analytical functions requiring a technical computer background. Responsibilities include code, test and debug computer programs, modify existing programs, write and maintain user documentation. Primary Responsibilities Analyze user specifications and requirements. Test and debug computer programs. Modify existing programs to conform to system changes or to make improvements in existing programs on moderately complex projects. May assist the Sr. Programmer/Analyst on large, complex projects. Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Education and/or Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the field and/or degree/certification in Information Technology field at a technical school. Other Skills and Abilities Systems analysis skills and business data processing applications would be favorable. Professionalism, accuracy and timeliness are very important to this position, as well as being able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Salary Range $55,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
