Pewaukee,
WI, April 10, 2003 – Andrew Larson, President of the Gustave A. Larson
Company, accepted the coveted Distributor of the Year award at
Mitsubishi’s National Distributor Meeting held February 19-22 in Maui.
The award was presented by Bill Rau, Mitsubishi’s Senior Vice
President/General Manager, and Craig Little, Vice President of Sales and
Marketing.
This
prestigious award is based on overall sales growth and other factors such
as market share, training, inventory service levels, knowledgeable sales
personnel, technical support, branch displays of Mitsubishi products, and
product manager support. This is the second time in the last three years
that the Larson Company has received this award.
In making
the announcement, Davis Watkins, Regional Manager, stated “Gustave A.
Larson is an outstanding company that is positioned for tremendous growth
with the Mitsubishi Mr. Slim and City Multi product lines. We are honored
to have them as our Distributor of the Year.”
The Larson
Company has 30 locations in nine Midwestern states with almost 280
employees. Each branch carries an extensive inventory of equipment and
replacement parts to serve customer’s needs. The Larson Company, a leader
in customer service, maintains a $27 million inventory and an in-house
truck fleet that replenishes the branches nightly. A state-of-the-art
computer system links all 30 locations with the Corporate Offices and
Distribution Center in Pewaukee, Wis.
